This short collaboration between Kanye and Spike Jonze won’t be up long so I’m sharing it quickly (without adding too many thoughts yet).

It’s being yanked down as soon as people post it (including Kanye).

The film interests me on several levels (mostly thematically and the imagery at the end)… and not for Ye, his acting nor his or Spike’s seeming laments about celebrity.

Of course, after taking part in the greatest televised concert ever (where even Beyonce didn’t annoy me), Kanye became a meme at the MTV Video Music awards a few weeks ago.

But overall I’m tipping my hat to him and Spike Jonze for dreaming up this tasty and surreal little piece of cinema.
